Custom Mailboxes and How They Reflect Your Style

I think the postman must be one of the most boring professions there is. I mean, you drive around even with stacks of mail from other people. Open stop on the mailbox, the door, put in the e-mail, close the door, then get off and repeat. I think I was crazy after just one day!
So I ask myself, that's why some people set Bazaar mailboxes? Do not get me wrong I am for personalized mailboxes. I have more than once asked my last name and number on my computer. And I secretly for one of the fancy brick numbers that are not only beautiful craved, but also very functional. I mean, they are practically indestructible!
Personalization is one thing. I mounted a name the family or painted in a beautiful script. I can tolerate some decorative elements such as birds, flowers, or even a favorite sports team. But I draw the line at oversized animal statues that you ask to stop and make "What were they thinking?"
For example, in a neighboring town, there are very nice house on the Gulf of Mexico, and significantly stationed in the street sits an almost life-mother-Manati, a mailbox. Now this alone is bad enough, but it does not end the show. Down toward the tail of the mother manatee is swimming is "a sweet little baby manatee. But it's not swimming with mama, no, it looks as if it is to care! Now I know that it does not actually nursing, because manatees nurse their babies from a gland under the armpits. But if you do not know this little tidbits of useless trivia, would probably think that this a baby manatee mailbox interesting features! I wonder what the postman through your head!
This is not the only artistic mailbox out there. There are websites devoted to the only ugly mailboxes. I have pictures of mailboxes with sculptures pelicans, ketchup bottles, swimming fish, and even Mickey Mouse. The artistic efforts do not end with the mailbox, some homeowners have to send the creative work with the mailbox, with a bit of wheel rims to scrap metal, old branches.
So want to guess when you stand in your area, you only think about or personal mailboxes. And remember, the sky is the limit
